THEME: THE REAL BREAD

Our restless quest will cease the day we discover the source of our ultimate satisfaction.

In our today’s gospel the Lord Jesus said, ” _I’m the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.”_ John 6:35-36.

Food and drink cannot satisfy us. They are symbol of the bread. They can sustain life only to a limit. A place in Christ is pool of access to the real food which can give full satisfaction to our souls.

Moreover, when we are satisfied, we gain peace which sustains us in our temporal journey in life. This peace and full assurance of God’s divine provision for us is a key to our ultimate fulfilment.

Let us accept the Lordship of Christ that we may gain strength for painless hustles amidst the world struggles.

May God’s life in us gives us the peace that surpasses what the world can offer. Amen.
