THEME: POSSESSING AN UNWAVERING PURPOSE

We must take care lest human admiration distracts us from our life goals. The allure of earthly pleasures may distract us from the promise of heavenly joy, causing us to avoid the necessary trials on the way to eternal life.

“At a time when everyone was full of admiration for all he did, Jesus said to his disciples, ‘For your part, you must have these words constantly in your mind: “The Son of Man is going to be handed over into the power of men.”

Jesus knew why he came into the world and never lost sight of that. We must be careful lest we stuck in life because of the temporary glory.

May we always possess the strong will that we may stay focused on our goals in life. Amen.
