Living in the Light of God.

Living in God means living by the truth. Christ, the Word of God, brings light and understanding to our lives. To accept what God has spoken is to accept him fully. He is the light that illuminates our path, who guides us through life’s challenges and uncertainties.

By embracing his truth, we align ourselves with his will, and we find purpose and direction for our lives. In Christ, we discover the clarity and strength to walk in righteousness, thereby reflecting his love and grace in all that we do.

“The Word was the true light that enlightens all men; and he was coming into the world. He was in the world that had its being through him, and the world did not know him. He came to his own domain and his own people did not accept him. But to all who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to all who believe in the name of him who was born not out of human stock or urge of the flesh or will of man but of God himself.” John 1:14-18

We live in a world whereby human choices, the truth is either rejected or twisted.  The initial disobedience of Adam and Eve keeps repeating itself in humanity. Every form of disobedience to God brings disaster.

To bring us closer to understanding the ways of God, Jesus, the Word, came to live among us and show us the way to his Father, for he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Christmas celebration is a reminder of God living among us. Hence, we must not take his presence for granted.

We pray that we may always live by the truth of truth and may our lives become his words in action in our societies. Amen.
