THEME: LIVING IN HOPE

Our hope in the power of God to save gives us the motivation to excel in every kind of good action.

The writer of the letter to the Hebrew made it clear, “Brethren: God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness in realising the full assurance of hope until the end” Heb 6:10-13

Having before us the vision of our eternal glory, and knowing in practical terms that we are not alone in whatever circumstances we find ourselves, we must not neglect to show love to others, especially those who share the same hope with us.

There have been men and women of faith who have sailed through huddles that are greater than whatever we may be passing through now. Hence, we should cling unto our hope in Christ and as such, keep our faith alive. Jesus has shown the way. He will be with us.

Dear one, may no suffering or bitter passion reduce you. In the midst of your ups and downs, may your love for others always remain intact. May nothing stop you from reaching the eternal home of glory. Amen.
