Prove your love for Jesus
Acts 25: 13b-21, alm 103:1-2.11-12.19-20ab, John 21: 15-19

How do we demonstrate our love for Jesus? Like Peter in the gospel of today, if many of us are asked whether we love Jesus, our answer would definitely be yes, however, loving Jesus goes beyond mere acceptance by our words, it must be followed up with actions.
On accepting that he loves Jesus, Peter was given the task of taking care of the flock of Jesus. Peter was asked the same question for three times, and the three times, he was given the task of feeding the flock of Jesus. Jesus wanted peter to reassure him of his love, not to abandon his flock but to care for them.
Our claim of loving Jesus comes with the need to continually re-assure and accept the task he has for us like peter did in the three times he was asked.
Most importantly, we should know that the best way to demonstrate our love for Jesus is by feeding the hungry and taking care of those in need around us.
May we never get tired of reassuring Jesus that we love him, and even when we feel tired sometimes because of the challenges it carries, may he give us the grace we need to continue spreading his love throughout the world.
Peace be with you
