THEME: HIS PEACEFUL PRESENCE
Our belief is the Lord’s presence will always boost our confidence and calm our fear. Putting him at a strategic position in our life compass enables him to speak to the storms that threaten our existence.
In our today’s gospel, we see Jesus asleep at the stern of the boat. He was in a comfortable position. When the disciples woke him up in fear, he spoke to the disturbing storm and there was a calm. Mark 4:35-41
Hence, it is clear that the position we give to Jesus in our will determine his ability to save us from troubles. Our regard for his presence can only be measured by our faith in what he can do.
The Lord can do what no man can do. Let us give him his rightful place in our lives and he will never let us down.
May God’s presence calm our fears and may our faith in him still all the storms in our lives through Christ our Lord. Amen.
