Homily of Wednesday, Second Week of Advent.

Dear friends in Christ,
As we journey through this Advent season, we’re reminded of God’s call to freedom and rest. In today’s Gospel, Jesus invites us, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

This call is for everyone, and the action is simple: meet Jesus. He’s ready to lift the burdens of shame, disgrace, and sin. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light, not because life is burden-free, but because with Him, challenges become manageable.

As we prepare to welcome Christ, the newborn King, let’s approach Jesus in the sacraments, and He’ll make Himself available, offering us peace and rest.

Peace be with you!
