It is advisable not to use our mouth to share what we do not eat. Any engagement with Satan is a participation in his life, either in rapport or in confrontation. He loves both. He seeks submission. He wants fight because he is not ashamed to fight dirty.

When we no longer show shame in sins or deeds that do not glorify the Lord, we should know that we have started dinning with demons. Paul said in the first reading, ” _You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons”_

Therefore, We should do all within our capacity to submit to the Lordship of Christ. The first mark of someone in Christ is love which produces peace.

” _The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.”_

Hiding in the protecting hands of God is a shield. Living in Christ has commensurate fruits. When we can no longer bear fruits of love and unity, we should know that we have started participating with the evil one.

The Lord asked in the gospel, ” _No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit_ .”

We cannot hide ourselves. We cannot denied the spirit which we have allowed to lead us.

Let us give the Lord the totality of our lives. Let us bear fruits for eternal redemption.

May the love of God reign in our hearts.
