AN EVIL MAY NOT BE THAT EVIL
An evil may not be that evil, until it is spread. The one who spreads evil news may be worse than he who committed it. When evil news is carried so as to control it from being repeated, it serves well. But when it is spread to rouse negative sentiments, it is disastrous and evil in itself. Other sins we commit are secondary to the sin of the tongue. It takes only God to tame human tongue. He has provided enough wall around it, covering it with teeth and lips. We are safe when we play no part in evil. We are evil when we derive joy in sharing evil news.
Be a carrier of good news
And the Lord who has the bridle and bits will help you to put your tongue under control.
Dear one, as you face the Daily Realities of your life, may your heart speak good that your tongue may minister grace unto others.
