WHEN GOD MIXES WITH US

HOMILY, FRIDAY, 16TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR A

Jer 3: 14-17, Matthew 13:18-23

Great things happen when God mixes with us. God does not want us to be vagus. He does not want us to be wandering about in search of a place of rest.

With the right knowledge and understanding, we are at peace and are firmly established. The Lord Jesus said, “My people are dying for lack of knowledge.” With the perfect knowledge of God, the evil one can no longer confuse us and cannot snatch away what the Lord has sown in us. God wants us to bear fruits and yield in abundance

At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart.” Jer. 3:17.

Let us give God a permanent place in our lives. Let us allow him to lead us. Let us place all our endeavours before him.

PRAYER

O Lord! Set my feet firm in your path. Create a new heart in me. Come and have your perfect home in my heart. Thy Kingdom come.
