THEME: THE PASSION DRAMA.

Though no one is an expert in bearing suffering, suffering becomes acceptable when we know why we suffer.

Our morale is boosted when we know that we are suffering for a just cause.

Jesus embraced the cross with jubilation. He laid down his life willingly, all for love of humanity.

All who played different roles on his way to calvary are part of what made the scripture fulfilled in his mission on earth.

Pity to the betrayer, bystanders, and those who condemned him.
The woman with jar of ointment did not count the cost.
Pilate hands were tied, though he knew the truth.
Simon of Cyrene would have regretted if he had not carried the Cross with him.
The jeering crowd were ignorant.
The soldier at his death discovered him late.
Peter, James and John were experts in sleep.
Peter denied him, though he would later get himself back.
The guards were busy blindly following instructions.
Joseph of Arimethaia, waited for his death, before he could show his own charity.

And the God- man died.

Dear beloved,

As we celebrate Palm Sunday, may all we do be counted as our participation in the passion of Jesus Christ. May all we face in Life be translated into what will lead to the fulfilment of God’s will in our lives. Amen.
